my friend (a female) told me that i should try out meeting girls on myspace or facebook, etc...

i always thought that its a little creepy...or a bit of a stalker thing. what do u think ladies? would u meet a guy on the net?

I was getting lots of messages from random blokes globally on facebook so cancelled my profile. If they can locate you that way then they can get personal info too and steal your id.

urm i dont think i would.. i've never had someone message me like that and if they did i dont think i would take it seriously.. i think the best think to do is get out mate and meet people the proper way :)

I am married but if I was single when I was on myspace then I would actually get creeped out by guys sending messages, I will never 100% trust the internet though.

online isnt a good way to do it. and yeah some gurls do get alot of these messages. there are other ways to meet gurls, like if you have to ask friends to talk to some gurls thye know for you.

lol, i think u know the answer,....of course not. it is kind of stalker type and girls would kind of be freaked out... you should meet them at local public places like the mall, school/college, work and where ever else you go. yeah i would think u were totally a stalker/ lol

hiya...i talk 2 people on the internet alot...its good fun..would never meet any of them tho...and you can block them wenever you like and up 2 you if you give out personal info bout yourself...just have fun with it,,can be whoever you like on the net.

no i wouldnt mind un;ess they were flirting straight away or saying dirty things!! but if they were friendly then maybe but i wouldnt let my guard down! instead i would go out and meet people then i would no i was safe!!

I don't know about my space or facebook but I use bebo, and would be freaked out if someone contacted me there! I wouldn't call it stalker behaviour though, unless they kept on persisting to contact me, but I would think 'poor, sad loser'. There's nothing wrong with meeting girls over the net, but try dating sites like match.com, where girls want to meet guys over the net.

This sounds very childish and silly, but I have a lot of friends who I met over the internet, I called one of them, and I know who she is, I built up a relationship with all of them, and would class them as close friends.

At the end of the day though, I wouldn't sacrifice the relationships I have with my 'real' friends for some people I met on the internet.

Give it a try, you can only decide you don't like it can't you.

Just remember to be honest about yourself and don't try to hard with them, it may look as if you're lying or something.

Another thing to remember is, be their friend before you turn on any charms. And never ask them if they have webcam etc... it's a real turn off...

I get random add requests, and I normally just add them. I had one bloke, just chatting like we were mates, but I didnt know him from adam!! Had I been single %26amp; he was fit, maybe i would have liked it. So theres your answer, get a fit pic %26amp; check shes single!! Im disagreeing with all whos answered you. I have been on several dating sites and had loads of messages and there are some genuine people out there. I have a disabled son so its hard for me to get out and meet blokes. I have been very lucky and met some really nice men and im currently in a serious realationship with someone i met on the net.

no i think its fine because people add people on msn this way you read what the person likes and you can chat to them in this day and age a lot people go on bebo or myspace to meet new people like friends or more ..x
