I think you need to make sure you know the person really well and if this is the first time meeting i think you may need to take someone with you and make sure you too are never alone. I dont think it is a good idea but hey as long as you have some one with you and you know the person well all i can say is be very careful and take it up with your parents. I too am 16 and have done the internet thing but my space isnt all that great to meet mr right on and you dont know his background and i dont think you need to or want to do it becuase you are asking everyone what they think wich means you are worried, nervous, or having doubts about the whole thing.
