I received a request on myspace from a guy who wants me to add him as a friend. I have no clue who he is, or what he's all about. I wrote him a message and asked why he wants me as a friend, and all he replies is "cuz you are cute and one can never have too many friends".
I can't find out a thing about him, because his myspace page is set to private. I answered him back saying I can't add him as a friend just like that, but I am open to meet new people and getting to know them. What do you guys think - does he sound like somebody who would take advantage of people? All I know is his nickname, and he's got a picture of a truck showing, and the saying "There are 99 problems, but a ***** ain't one"... what does that saying mean anyway - anybody know? Btw. I am not looking for a relationship of any sorts, i am married. I am just curious about this whole thing, and like I said, I am always open to meet new people.

A lot of people on MySpace are just 'friend collectors' looking to see how many people they can acquire. Personally, from his pic I wouldn't be interested in 'knowing' him - he sounds like a rude woman-hating male. However, it is possible that this person is just curious about you. So it's up to you. You could add him, and if he turns out to be a creep, delete his ***. Make sure you don't have any personal info (address, phone #, etc) posted on your page.
Personally, I don't have time for impersonal BS that isn't going anywhere - and people on myspace don't tend to get very invested in online friendships anyway. It's just a waste of everyone's time. I wouldn't add him - but you can do as you wish :)

You're not the only person on MySpace to get random friend requests. Just ignore it.

How about doing something nice for your hubby instead of wasting time e-mailing some stranger with a private myspace profile.

A lot of people on Myspace are just trying to get more "friends" and send requests to as many people as possible. Deny the request. Unless it's someone you know or someone who actually shows interest in having you as a "friend" for a reason (live in same town, military, etc), I would just deny it. Like I said, he's probably just trying to build up his "friends" count. I think that "99 problems" thing is a rap song. Not worth worrying about...just deny the friend request. Oh yeah, you might want to set your account to private instead of public if you haven't already.

DONT ADD HIM!!!
I only add ppl i know and you shouldnt even wrote him a message because on myspace boys dont care if they dont know you they add you if they think you are pretty!!and "i got 99 problem but a *****aint one"is a jay-z song!!!

Everyone gets random friends requests. It's nothing to be worried about. I get a few random requests everyday. If someone thinks you're cute or interesting, they usually add you. And the "There are 99 problems, but a b**ch aint one" are lyrics from the Jay-Z song "99 problems" Just means he doesn't have girl problems.
You can add him, it's not going to hurt anything... and once you add him you'll be able to see his profile. And you can always delete him off of your friends at any time. =)

first of all that saying he has is from a jay z song lol and it means he dosent really care to much for a girl, secondly if u wanna see his page except him look over his page then delete him, and finally who cares it's just myspace! it means nothing.....good luck
