ok so i met this guy on myspace but my best friends knows him they're locker are right by each other at school. but i go to a different school. well...we've been talking online for the past idk 4 days? and now he wants to meet me but i'm not sure if thats a good idea. I would but i want a group of people to be there you know wat i mean? like my best friend but i would still be worried and my parents probably wont like me lying to them about going out somewhere w/ my best friend when in reality we're going to see this guy. i lost there trust before but idk wat to do now. i want to meet him but i'm sort of freaked...?? help?!

In your case, i would recommend going but to yes surround yourself with more friends of yours so you can tell your parents that you are going out with your friends and in this way you are not lying to them so you can't lose their trust.

you dont have to meet him with a group just make sure you meet at a public place. Dont drive anywhere with him just meet hm somewhere for dinner or something like that. Get to know him that way until your comfortable around him. This is how I met mny girl and now im in love after 6 months of being with her : ) Be careful tho and good luck : )

Focus on school sweetie. If you have to get your parents permission to meet someone new, then it proves you're not at an age where you should be doing so.

Ok so I met my current boyfriend on myspace. Also, he was friends with my older sister in high school. They had mutual friends. I didn't find this out until after I met him though, which eased things a little. He just kept asking for my # so I figured ok, and we met one night after work, and things turned out so incredibly wonderful! We have been together for almost 7 months and I love him to death!!
